Spring Summer Collection 2018 – Femme
The growing trend of merging women and menswear collections is reflected in the current mood of gender-neutral fabric designs: large and small scale checked patterns are key this season, enhanced by our strong solid-coloured fabrics. Lurex gives a fascinating charm while the clean and crisp whites empower the collection with dynamic, sporty and summery feelings.
For the Spring Collection, Lanificio F.lli Cerruti has maintained and refined the basics of fine wool, historical traits of the company, very dynamic, thanks to the Lycra, as well as high-twist natural stretch fabrics: very smooth, yarn dyed with orthogonal designs in fresh and summery colours, suitable for timeless trousers and suits: practical, modern, versatile: from checks to thin and thick pinstripes, masculine designs are now being introduced more frequently in women’s ready to wear. Completing the collection are the silk/wool crêpe with sharp and crisp textures, the incredible lightness of semi-transparent voile and the thicker weights suitable for coats.
This season’s summer collections proposes a mix of linen, cotton, ramie, silk – pure and blended: slub yarns add to lighter structures a slight movement which enriches the base, while in the thicker versions a sportier edge, with an elegant design. Fabrics include more or less noticeable jacquard patterns, adding movement and stimulating the imagination of whoever will then create exclusive and intriguing garments.
Lanificio f.lli Cerruti continue to broaden its fascinating ‘story’ created by extra fine Nylon loops: this time light jacquard fabrics become elegant and refined. The structured suit that does not go unnoticed, keeps the lightness and the irregularity of extra-chic fabrics: from cocktail jackets to silk and cotton/linen blends. Fresh and attractive design, often playful, opens up to a world in which Cerruti firmly believes in: the combination of technical fibres with classical ones, creating more transversal fashionable sportswear, suitable for an assertive women capable of choosing elegant suits with a young and lively aspect.

SUMMER BLENDS
Fresh, crisp and sparkling qualities, with micro-patterns and monochrome structures, guarantee the new elegant sporty look: blends of linen, cotton, ramie and silk with the subtle surprising addition of Lurex.
SOPHISTICATED RUSTICS
Flammé and printed yarns create sophisticated textures and discreet irregularities in plain fabrics and a variety of checked patterns in cotton, linen, silk and Lurex blends.
COOL COTTONS
Featuring in this collection are micro-patterns and irregular jacquard designs, cotton crêpe and frisée yarns in a clean and fresh palette of summery whites, shades of blue and red.
