Gi\u00e0 dal 1940, pur senza l\u2019utilizzo di internet e delle nuove tecnologie, il Lanificio Cerruti ha raccolto la sfida della globalizzazione dandosi un respiro internazionale, ma senza mai perdere di vista il territorio o delocalizzare. Negli anni \u201850 si \u00e8 affermato sempre pi\u00f9 grazie al sig. Nino Cerruti che \u00e8 stato protagonista del mondo della moda per pi\u00f9 di 40 anni, in qualit\u00e0 di stilista e direttore dell\u2019azienda dal 1951. Anche oggi che il lanificio piemontese si \u00e8 trasformato in una realt\u00e0 multinazionale che vende in pi\u00f9 di 100 paesi, l\u2019intera realizzazione dei tessuti \u00e8 svolta per il 100% a Biella.<br \/>\nLa produzione si \u00e8 spostata solo di qualche metro, dall\u2019edificio del 1700, patrimonio storico, allo stabilimento accanto.
