“…we await your precious drapes to cloche Authority with true and lofty worth...”
Aide-de-camp of His Majesty Vittorio Emanuele III
A techno-earthly collection
The origins of the “Parcour” collection stem from reinterpreting the technical archives of the textiles destined for military uniforms, produced by the Lanificio Cerruti in the 1930’s, combined with contemporary, modern inspiration of the most dynamic and adventurous urban casual.
The result is a confident, innovative, surprising collection, which maintains the quality and performance demanded by military textiles, adapting perfectly to the frenetic bustle of the city.
The materials are predominantly of natural origin, and are treated to give great performance and wear, and to convey the fabric a technical aspect; we have called this collection Techno-earthly.
The textures propose the peculiarities of military textiles once more: gabardine, whipcord, tricotine and double textiles.
The finishings are transparent spreading and varnishing treatments, which convey the textiles a “rubbery” or “leathery” look, making them stiff and shiny; the patterns and the prints represent abstract, violent motifs and the dyes are shaded, délavé, with “cloudy” effects.
The colour range is the result of double dyeing, which emulates the nuances of the colour badges and uniform decorations, a tribute to the 150th anniversary of the Risorgimento.
